The NEW Northwest Ambulance EMT Academy is an accelerated pathway to starting your career at Northwest Ambulance as a certified Washington State Emergency Medical Technician.
Our NEW hybrid training course lasts only 8 weeks and allows students to work at their own speed!

The cost for the student is only $500, with a 6-month employment contract after completion of the EMT Academy. Northwest Ambulance covers the rest of the costs!
What do EMT's Do?
EMT's provide care to patients utilizing Basic Life Support skills. They have the skills to assess, communicate, and document a patient's condition and to manage respiratory, cardiac, and trauma emergencies. EMT's at Northwest Ambulance respond to a wide variety of transportation requests from non-emergency interfacility requests to the most critical of patients needing life-saving care. Northwest Ambulance EMT's uphold the core values of the company by providing compassionate customer service to all we encounter.

Applicants must be 18 years old and have had their driver's license for 2 years or longer, possess a high school diploma, and must pass a drug screening
and background check.
